The legendary Formula Ford Festival is back at Brands Hatch for two days of knockout format single-seater racing this weekend (22/23 October) featuring some of the best clubman competitors in the sport. One of the most traditional events on the Kent circuit's
calendar, the Festival returns for its 51st running on the Indy
circuit this autumn. Former winners include Jenson Button, Johnny
Herbert, Mark Webber and Eddie Irvine, meaning that club racers
have a unique opportunity to add their names to an illustrious roll
of honour.
Many competitors will travel from across the UK and Ireland to try
and conquer the Festival in 1600cc Formula Ford cars, and some will
travel from even further afield including a crop of young talents
from the USA. The races will be fast and furious as competitors
dice in slipstream battles to progress through the rounds,
culminating in a dramatic Grand Final on Sunday afternoon.
???????The meeting will also feature a programme of support races
from the BRSCC.
