Everyone at PalmerSport and MSV would like to congratulate Kane Langston, a regular part of our engineering team at Bedford Autodrome, who recently secured the Thundersport GB Golden Era Supersport motorcycle racing title several races early.
Kane, who joined PalmerSport in January, secured the title mathematically at Anglesey in late August, before following that up with a double victory on his Yamaha 600 at Oulton Park. He still has four races to run, all of which will take place at Cadwell Park in October.
By day, Kane primarily works as Vehicle Technician on PalmerSport's fleet of cars at Bedford Autodrome, with a particular focus on the event's lightweight Caterham sports cars.
MSV chief executive Jonathan Palmer said: "I knew Kane has proved to be one of our top PalmerSport technicians but I didn't know until now quite what a talent he was racing on two wheels! Our team will all be thrilled for him and we'll certainly be wishing Kane well for hopefully more success next year!".
So, in addition to having four-wheeled aces coaching you at PalmerSport, you also have a two-wheeled champion working behind the scenes, and he knows what a thrill it is pushing machinery to the limit, like our PalmerSport guests!
