The Team This Way Up rowing crew, backed by MotorSport Vision (MSV) completed the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge late on Friday night. The crew crossed the line in English Harbour, Antigua, in second position after recording what is believed to be one of the top ten fastest Transatlantic rowing crossings of all time.

The four-strong crew of Edward Ogden, Oliver Browne, James Peet and Jos Pape set off from La Gomera in the Canary Islands just after midday on 12 December. Despite facing some rough weather along the way, the crew secured a very strong runner-up spot with a crossing in 32 days, 13 hours and 23 minutes.

They were greeted in English Harbour by family and friends, as well as members of the experienced Ocean Cats rowing crew which claimed first place. The team's performance is notable in that among the four-strong team, only Jos was a regular rower prior to the 11-month training period.

MSV was pleased to support Team This Way Up in this contest, billed as the world's toughest row. The team aims to raise £250,000 for charity and you can still donate by clicking here.
