2018 Bennetts British Superbike Champion Leon Haslam has lift off on his bid to add to his title tally after launching the ROKiT BMW Motorrad Team at Donington Park ahead of last weekend's R&G Official Test.
Haslam will line up on the BMW M1000 RR in the newly formed team for the 2023 season with title sponsorship from ROKiT and commitment to a multi-year title sponsorship agreement.
The new venture will see 'The Pocket Rocket' return to BMW Motorrad Motorsport having last rode for the manufacturer in the World Championship during the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
Haslam said: "I am so excited to be able to finally put all this together as it's been a long few weeks of trying to get it over the line. I would like to thank ROKiT, Completely Motorbikes and all of our sponsors who have been able to make this possible, it's a dream come true. I've had a really good winter from a physical point of view, so I am ready for this new challenge in British Superbikes on the BMW M 1000 RR."

Haslam was second in the overall times at the pre-season test at the Circuito de Navarra two weeks ago and is back in action for this week's two-day R&G Official Test at Silverstone on March 28/29 ahead of the first round of the season.
