The Bennetts British Superbike Championship heads to Donington Park this weekend (30 September - 1 October) for the second round of what is already shaping up to be an incredible Showdown. Tickets are available at discounted rates until 4pm on Wednesday 28 September, with main Sunday raceday prices starting at just £33 for adults, with additional discounts for teenagers, and free entry for children under-13. The Oulton Park event last weekend was scarcely believable, as
almost all the Showdown contenders hit some sort of drama. Through
it all, a win and a podium for Bradley Ray means he has the upper
hand heading to Donington Park, but with a slim 40-point cushion to
Tommy Bridewell. Dark horse Lee Jackson, who was another Oulton
Park winner, is a further eight points in arrears and it could all
change rapidly over the course of three races in the East
Midlands...
Glenn Irwin is also in the mix, while Jason O'Halloran will be
determined to mount a fightback after controversial crashes in
the opening two races in Cheshire. Meanwhile, local eyes will be on
Nottinghamshire's Kyle Ryde, who is competing in the Showdown for
the first time.
As well as three sensational Superbike contests, there's a
packed support race package including Quattro Group British
Supersport/GP2, Pirelli National Superstock, Junior Superstock, HEL
Performance Junior Supersport, Honda British Talent Cup and Molson
British Sidecars. Fans will be able to meet the stars of the show
during Sunday's free of charge eBay Pit Walk during the lunch
break, while big screens in the most popular viewing areas will
ensure trackside fans miss none of the action.
Discounted tickets are available in advance until 4pm on
Wedesday 28 September, after which they'll be available at gate
prices throughout the weekend. For more information and to book,
