RAM Racing's Mercedes-AMGs shared qualifying spoils in the Intelligent Money British GT Championship at Snetterton this afternoon when Ian Loggie and Ulysse de Pauw set the fastest times in Q1 and Q2.

Matt Cowley and Jamie Day sealed a GT4 pole apiece for Academy's Ford and R Racing's Aston Martin.

De Pauw and Day both smashed the British GT Championship qualifying lap records for their respective classes en route to their Race 2 poles, while Loggie's late effort meant less than a tenth separated a GT3 Race 1 top-three that also featured Flick Haigh and her 2 Seas team-mate James Cottingham.

De Pauw's time - British GT's first ever below 1m46s at Snetterton - was a tenth quicker than Free Practice pace setter Lewis Williamson could manage, although he did beat RAM's second entry driven by Callum Macleod to a place on the front row.

As many different manufacturers will start in GT4's Race 1 top-six but it was Cowley who set Q1's quickest time by just over a tenth from Josh Miller. The latter's co-driver made amends in Q2 to give R Racing their first-ever British GT pole position ahead of championship leader Sennan Fielding (Steller Motorsport).
