Bumper NASCAR demos confirmed for American SpeedFest 9

Tuesday, May 31 2022

American SpeedFest returns to Brands Hatch with a two days of fuel-injected family fun including demonstrations from genuine US NASCAR machinery on 11/12 June. The demonstrations from stock cars raced in the USA will complement a themed race programme headlined by the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series.

The NASCAR demos have been a hugely popular part of SpeedFest since the event joined the Kent circuit's calendar in 2013. And this year's line-up is expected to be the best yet with no fewer than 18 genuine American oval racers set to hit the Indy circuit. The NASCAR machines will be joined in their demo laps by a former Indianapolis 500 pace car.

These cars will join a fast and furious on-track programme, with other highlights including four NASCAR Whelen Euro Series races, contests for classic V8s, plus the NASCAR-inspired Pickup Truck Racing Championship. Classic stock cars will be represented by the 5/8 scale Legends hot rods, whilst the SpeedFest Silhouettes will bring a UK twist on the theme to the programme.

The event will also feature an extensive off-track show including car displays, themed food and drink and much more for all the family.
