GT World Challenge Europe rescheduled for August

Tuesday, March 23 2021

The Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit round of the 2021 Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe has been rescheduled for 28/29 August.

The championship's popular Sprint Cup was due to make its long awaited return to the Kent circuit in May, following a COVID enforced absence in 2020. The event was recently postponed ahead of the announcement of the new date to enable spectators to attend.

As with the original date, the event will take place on the Saturday and Sunday of a bank holiday weekend. The event will feature two headline GT races, starring some of the finest drivers and teams on the continent and machinery from many of the planet's most exotic manufacturers.

The late summer date was originally scheduled to be a Classic Sports Car Club event on the Indy circuit, and the CSCC has been hugely helpful and cooperative in making way to allow for international GT racing's return. We're pleased to confirm that many of the CSCC's series will still appear on the support programme, adding an eclectic retro flavour to the event.

All affected MSV ticketholders will be contacted later today by email with details on how to manage their booking. If you let us know you're unable to attend the replacement date(s), you will be entitled to either a credit or a full refund.
