Merry Christmas from everyone at MSV

Thursday, December 24 2020

We're wishing all fans of two and four wheeled motorsport, volunteers, officials, marshals, competitors and other participants a very pleasant Christmas break, at the end of what has been a truly challenging year.

The extraordinary circumstances of 2020 have been far reaching globally but, despite the obstacles created by the unprecedented COVID-19 situation, we were still able to see a very good season of motor racing at MSV's five racing circuits.

Brands Hatch, Donington Park, Oulton Park, Snetterton and Cadwell Park were all able to host a decent number of events in the latter part of summer through into autumn, and showcased the best that British motorsport has been able to offer through a truncated calendar.

Sadly, it wasn't possible to welcome fans to national elite-level events like the British Touring Car Championship or Bennetts British Superbike Championship, and they were greatly missed. A limited number of spectators were however able to attend many club level events and historic meetings, with fantastic feedback from everyone involved. We're optimistic that restrictions will be relaxed in the spring and that we'll be able to welcome you all trackside again - we have a very strong calendar in place and tickets and season passes are available to purchase now.

Trackdays, testing and driving experiences have all been able to operate outside of lockdowns, with a range of COVID-secure measures in place, and we have a busy schedule in place for next year. Trackdays in particular are selling extremely quickly! And we're looking forward to a successful rollout of our new Drive! Initiative across the five MSV race circuits in January. Our PalmerSport driving event at Bedford Autodrome resumes in March after a winter break and it remains the best motorsport experience you'll find anywhere in the world.

We're closing for the festive break as of lunch time today (24 Dec) but we'll be open for business once again on 4 January. Please bear with us as any email or social media enquiries sent between now and then will be responded to when we return.

Until then, everyone at MSV would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Stay safe and we'll look forward to seeing you in 2021.
