FREE admission - BTCC official test this Wednesday!

Monday, March 25 2019

Don't miss your first chance to see this season's British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) machinery out on track on Wednesday (27 March) when Brands Hatch hosts the BTCC Official Test Day - and best of all, public admission is FREE!

Gates open to the public at 9.30am, and you can get close to all the teams and drivers with a pit lane walkabout at 1.10pm. Cars will be on track from 10am to 1pm and 2-5pm, offering plenty of opportunity to see the new-look 2019 BTCC in action.

This year's grid boasts a strong Formula One connection, with former F1 driver Mark Blundell and Nicolas Hamilton, brother of F1 champion Lewis, both competing. Reigning BTCC champion Colin Turkington returns at the wheel of a BMW 3 Series, while BTCC legend Jason Plato is reunited with Vauxhall and Tom Ingram fights for the title in a factory-backed Toyota Corolla.

Discounted advance tickets for all MotorSport Vision (MSV) rounds of the BTCC will be on sale in the Brands Hatch Megastore, where a selection of Brands Hatch merchandise will be available including t-shirts, mugs, keyrings and more!

The Kentagon restaurant and Grand Prix Terrace kiosk in the paddock will be open for hot and cold food and drinks. Please note, Southbank parking is closed for this event but the car park by the main entrance will be open, with no charge.

The BTCC season opens on 6-7 April at Brands Hatch (Indy circuit) and visits the following MSV circuits :

27-28 April Donington Park
29-30 June Oulton Park
3-4 August Snetterton
12-13 October Brands Hatch GP
