TCR and BRSCC Club Championships come to Brands Hatch

Thursday, May 31 2018

Brands Hatch hosts the BRSCC Club Car Championships this weekend, featuring a plethora of racing classes, including the Kent circuit's first TCR UK races.

The BRSCC's TCR UK Championship will feature a variety of saloon cars on-track, with a host of cars from a variety of different manufacturers.

It's been a successful start for WestCoast Racing's Dan Lloyd, with pole positions at Silverstone and Knockhill and four wins from four races. He leads Swedish teammate Andreas Bäckman by 66 points in the drivers' championship.

The weekend's other racing will include everything from the  BRSCC Mazda MX-5 SuperCup with evenly matched sports-roadsters, to the Avon Tyres National Formula Ford 1600 Championship's fierce single-seater battles.

The Caterham Academy Championship, Caterham Roadsport Championship, Caterham Seven 270R Championship, and Caterham Seven 310R Championship will al provide close racing too. Caterham racing is enormously well supported in the UK, with big grids.

The line-up is completed by the HRDC Allstars and HRDC Touring Greats which will add a retro flavour.

Tickets are £16 on the gate for adults, £10 for teens (13-15) and kids under 13 go free. More details here.
