American SpeedFest 9: Important Spectator Information

We're looking forward to welcoming fans to American SpeedFest 9 at Brands Hatch this weekend (11/12 June). Here is some important information which will help you make the most of your trip to the circuit.

Gate opening times 
Public admission to the circuit is from 8.00am on Saturday and 9.00am on Sunday.

Parking Information 
Parking is free of charge in the main spectator car parks, located by the main entrance off the A20. These will be well signposted.

Please note that Southbank parking (for the grass bank opposite the rear of the pits) is £5 per car on Saturday and £10 on Sunday. Places will be allotted on a first come, first served basis.

Blue badge holders should follow public signage for disabled parking, or alternatively please speak to a member of staff on arrival.

Camping
The campsite will open at midday on Friday 10 June and close at midday on Monday 13 June. Weekend ticket holders who haven't pre-booked camping can pay on the gate.

Adults are £35, Teens 13s-15s £20 and under-13s FREE.

You must have a valid weekend admission ticket/pass and camping ticket(s) to be allowed into the campsite.

Tickets
Additional tickets will be available on the gate at the following prices:

Saturday: Adults £25, 13-15-year-olds £15, senior citizens £18
Sunday:  Adults £30, 13-15-year-olds £19, senior citizens £22

Under-13s: FREE

If you have chosen to have advance tickets posted (not print-at-home) you will need to bring the originals to the circuit as copies and receipts are not accepted.

All advance tickets have now been dispatched and were sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required.

If you haven't received them, contact us urgently at [email protected].

Please have your tickets separated before arriving at the gate.

Print-at-home/e-tickets are emailed on the day of purchase. If you haven't received yours, you can access them by logging on to your MSV account. Your order confirmation email will not gain you admission to the venue - the e-tickets themselves must be printed or scanned from a mobile device.

Grandstand seats
Grandstand viewing upgrades are available from the circuit Megastore at Paddock Hill at the following prices, subject to availability:

Paddock Hill Saturday: Adults £15, under-16s £10
 
Paddock Hill Sunday: Adults £20, under-16s £12
Pit Straight Sunday: Adults £15, under-16s £10
Hailwoods Sunday: Adults £15, under-16s £10
Desire Wilson Sunday: Adults £10, under-16s £5
Desire Wilson Covered Sunday: Adults £25, under-16s £25

Grandstand upgrades will also be available for the Monster Mayhem shows. Priced at just £2.50 per person, per show, these can be purchased from Hailwoods Restaurant, next to the SpeedFest Arena in the lower paddock.

Programmes
Official event programmes are on sale from programme huts and the Megastore for £5. Each programme contains features, details about this weekend's event, plus entry lists and other useful information.

SpeedFest Arena
Monster Mayhem shows featuring no fewer than four monster trucks will headline the new SpeedFest Arena, which can be found in the lower paddock outside Paddock Hill Bend. These shows are free to watch for spectators throughout Saturday and Sunday, though grandstand seating is available for £2.50 per person for each show.

Formula Gymkhana precision driving shows will take place between Monster Mayhem sessions, where grandstand seating will not be available.

Off-track entertainment

  • Display cars can be found throughout the venue this weekend, particularly along the circuit's main Colin Chapman Way thoroughfare
  • County fair rides are available in the Brands Hatch Fun Zone - individual charges apply
  • Archery and axe throwing is available in a special area in the woodland near Druids Bend. This is free of charge to take part
  • Themed food is available from the circuit's official restaurants - check the menus for offers and special items!
  • Red Dragon monster truck rides will be available to purchase in a dedicated arena in the middle of the venue
  • Mini Movie Truck and Mini Monster Truck driving experiences are available in designated areas. Follow venue signage to book. Individual charges apply
  • A Sunday morning pit walk and autograph session will take place from 9:20. Please queue at the Paddock Hill gate to take part

 

Grid Walks
Sunday's spectator grid walk is only open to relevant wristband and pass holders . If you have a grid walk pass for this, please queue at the Paddock Hill gate before 12:35 on Sunday. You will need to exchange your ticket for a wristband beforehand - there will be an exchange booth outside the Megastore on Sunday.


Grid Walk passes are sold out and not available to purchase - however an allocation has been set aside for season pass holders, and they can be collected from the Megastore.

Saturday's grid walk is open to all visitors and will commence at approximately 12:15.

Children's Wristbands
You're able to pick up one of our free children's wristbands from the programme sales huts or the Megastore. Write your name and phone number on the back of the wristband so we can contact you should you become separated from your child at any time.

Radio Brands 87.7FM 
Radio Brands will be broadcasting live commentary, interviews and spectator information throughout the weekend. Earpiece radios will be on sale from the Megastore for £8.

Excellent customer service is important to us, and all our staff are trained to help you make the most of your visit to the circuit. Whether you need assistance to find a lost child or to locate a disabled toilet, please ask one of the many uniformed staff you will see throughout the venue.

Mobiloo
A Mobiloo will be on site oppostie the Megastore - an accessible toilet with adult-sized changing bench, hoist and a friendly attendant.

Please bring your own sling if you wish to use the hoist. See www.mobiloo.org.uk for further information.

Security
The safety and security of all our visitors is paramount, so please be aware you may be subject to bag searches and security checks at our venue. We would also politely ask, as an additional security measure, that you put luggage tags on all of your bags detailing your name and mobile number, so that it can be easily identified. Please do not leave your bag or personal belongings unattended at any time.
