Caterham racers set for Snetterton this weekend

Sunday, October 03 2021

The BRSCC heads to Snetterton for two days of club-level car racing, headlined by four Caterham racing classes, this weekend (9/10 October).

Caterham's offering on the full 300 circuit will include fully race-prepared machinery in the Bilstein Caterham Seven 310R Championship and Motul Caterham Seven 270R Championship. The 310R is the ultimate racing Caterham, whilst the 270R is a thoroughbred in its own right, acting as a stepping stone from the lower Caterham categories to the top class.

The Lovecars Caterham Academy Championship acts as the entry-level series for the popular sports roadsters with road-legal machinery, whilst the Mission Motorsport Caterham Roadsport Championship sits just above that with a slightly evolved car.

All four Caterham grids will be in action across the weekend, with slipstreaming battles and plenty of opportunities for drivers to show off their overtaking skills.

The meeting will also feature single-seater racing from the Avon Tyres National Formula Ford Championship and additional sports-roadster entertainment from the BRSCC Mazda MX-5 Mk4 Trophy.

The line-up will be completed by the BRSCC ClubSport Trophy and Modified Ford Series.

How we continue to keep you safe: COVID-19

Whilst our motor racing circuits are outdoor venues, with spectators dispersed over a very wide area, we recognise the importance of maintaining sensible precautions to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission. We have therefore retained many of the protocols that have been in place since we welcomed spectators back again in May.  Click here for details.

Adult tickets are £16 on the gate with free entry for under-13s. For more information, please call 0843 453 9000 or click here.
