Latest MSV update following the decision to postpone Step 4

Monday, June 14 2021

Following the Prime Minister's announcement that Step 4 on the roadmap will be delayed by four weeks, we have temporarily taken the following race events off sale:

25-27 June - British Superbikes at Oulton Park
26-27 June - British Touring Cars at Brands Hatch
2-4 July - World Superbikes at Donington Park

The Sundays will be sold out. Any affected customers have been emailed.

Capacities will be limited in line with government guidance and grandstands will be reconfigured to allow for social distancing, with those customers contacted separately.

MSV's range of activities will continue to operate as per current arrangements. Please see below latest information for our various business areas:

Race events

Spectators have been welcomed at MSV race events since Saturday 22 May, with spectator capacities and a range of COVID-19 safety measures in place as per government guidelines. You can download a summary by clicking here.

Access to all working areas (e.g. paddocks, pit lanes and garages) will be limited to competitors, volunteer officials, credentialed persons, marshals and those providing a service at the event, until further notice.

Ticket sales for events must be purchased in advance to guarantee admission. Season and resident pass holders may need to notify us in advance if they plan to attend selected events - if this is the case MSV will create an online portal and notify pass holders as early as possible.

A range of physical distancing measures will be in place across the site, including grandstands. You must not attend in a group of more than 30 people. No public camping will be available, unless stated otherwise on the event page.

We anticipate that from 19 July all limits on the number of race event attendees will be removed. The vast majority of our major race meetings are now scheduled to take place after this date.

Car and bike trackdays resumed operating across the MSV circuits earlier this year. You can find a list of MSV Trackday dates here, and a complete list of events, including third-party operators, here.

A range of safety measures are in place, similar to 2020 events. This means that, until further notice, only participants and one essential helper can attend. No-one else, including spectating friends and family, will be admitted, however this will be kept under rolling review.

Overnight camping is now permitted at all venues (except Donington Park and Bedford Autodrome) for participants and their helpers the night before a trackday or the night between two consecutive trackdays.

MSV driving experiences (F4 Master, YoungDrive! etc.) resumed operating in April. Any vouchers due to expire during the period of closure have been automatically extended until the end of July. No further action is required.

All voucher holders have been contacted by email with further details. Please email activities@msv.com if you have any queries.
