GT World Challenge Europe returns to Brands Hatch in 2021

Friday, September 04 2020

GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS will return to the legendary, full Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit next year for a weekend of top-class supercar action on 1-2 May, it was announced today (Friday) by the SRO.

Europe's leading international championship for GT3 cars frequently features mouth-watering entries from manufacturers including Aston Martin, Ferrari, McLaren and Lamborghini. The drivers are world class too, with the grid often featuring former stars of F1 and Le Mans in almost equal machinery.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year's schedule was reduced to eight rounds, and that sadly meant that Brands Hatch's annual spring event was removed from the schedule. The championship's Sprint Cup will kick off in Kent once again next May though, with two 60-minute races.

Since the championship's first visit to Kent in 2014, it has established itself as one of the venue's flagship international events, with high calibre entertainment on the circuit combined with scintillating supercar and hypercar displays and demonstrations.

Tickets and further details will be available in due course.
