MSV update – 04.06.20: Office remains closed but track activity resumes

Thursday, June 04 2020

In line with the phased guidelines announced in May by the government, we are taking steps to re-opening the MSV business following an extended period of closure. Trackdays and testing resumed at all our UK venues from Tuesday 26 May, with a range of measures in place to maintain social distancing, and feedback from participants has been hugely positive. Details of the new procedures, which include online registrations and briefings, can be found here.

Please see below latest arrangements for the various events and activities across the MSV Group:

MSVT trackdays
MSVT car and bike trackdays resumed from 1 June, with a range of social distancing measures in place to comply with latest government guidelines. A full list of available dates can be found and booked online at www.msvtrackdays.com. Our offices remain closed but some members of our MSVT team are working remotely from home. The volume of bookings is currently extremely high so please only contact us by telephone if you have an urgent query.

Third-party trackdays (No Limits, Javelin etc)
Third party trackdays are now operating across the MSV circuits. Please see the organisers' websites for further information.

Car Testing
Testing resumed across circuits from 26 May, with a range of social distancing measures to comply with latest government guidelines. A full list of available dates can be found and booked online here. Our offices remain closed but some members of our Testing team are working remotely from home. The volume of bookings is currently extremely high so please only contact us by telephone if you have an urgent query.

PLEASE NOTE: Spectators, friends and family members will not be able to attend a track or test day until further notice. And overnight stays are not permitted at any venue under current government guidelines.

Event tickets/season passes
All motor racing until 3 July has been suspended and those affected events have been postponed. All tickets will be valid for the rescheduled event. If you let us know that you can't make the rescheduled date once it's been announced, if a race meeting is not rescheduled at all, or government restrictions prevent us being able to admit spectators,  you will be entitled to a credit or a refund. We will review the effect on season pass holders throughout the year and ensure that any significant loss of entitlement is managed fairly.

We fully anticipate that motor racing will resume from 4 July onwards and are hopeful that the increasing relaxation of restrictions will soon permit spectators to attend. We will provide further updates when available.

PLEASE NOTE:  The MotorSport Vision office remains temporarily closed, so please do not telephone or email. If you have a query that is not covered here, please wait until our offices reopen to get in touch.

Driving experiences
All MSV driving experiences (F4 Master, Rally Master, YoungDrive! etc.) will be postponed until at least 31 July. Everyone who is booked to attend an MSV driving experience (F4 Master, Rally Master, YoungDrive! etc.) up to and including this date will be able to book a replacement date in due course. Any vouchers that are due to expire will automatically remain valid until three months after driving experiences resume.

Customers of the PalmerSport event will be contacted separately regarding arrangements at Bedford Autodrome.
