Final bike event of the year at Snetterton set to be a classic!

Monday, September 23 2019

The Classic Racing Motorcycle Club heads to Snetterton this weekend (28-29 September), and fans have until midday on Wednesday (25 September) to book tickets in advance and make savings compared to gate prices.

The final bike races of the year at Snetterton will include over 30 races spanning solos and sidecars, and as with most CRMC events will feature machines from the 1940s to the 1970s, and feature some of the machines from the 'golden years' of motorcycling.

The event will celebrate the CRMC's 40th anniversary, after being founded in November 1979, and around 20 former members of the club are expected to attend to join the celebrations.

Several feature races will include £1,000 prizes, including the final round of the ACU Classic 500 National Championship, and the last round of the Post Classic National Championship for the Classic Race of Aces Trophy. The popular Lansdowne Classic Series will also be in action.

As well as the on track action, the race paddocks will be open all weekend, allowing spectators to get amongst the bikes and riders as they gear up for battle for the final time this year.

Saturday's action commences with practice and qualifying at 9am, with the first of the day's 16 races set to start just afer 1pm. 17 races are scheduled for Sunday, with the first due off at 9.13am.

Tickets for the Classic Racing Motorcycle Club at Snetterton are available in advance, priced from £12 for adults with free admission for children under-13. For more information or to book, call 0843 453 9000 or click here.
