Motorbase unveils new BTCC sponsor livery at Brands Hatch

Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship title-challenger Motorbase has revealed a striking new livery for its three-car assault on the 2017 championship, and multiple race-winner Mat Jackson will spearhead the line-up.

The squad's three Ford Focuses will run in the colours of Nestlé Cereals brand Shredded Wheat next season. The livery was unveiled at Brands Hatch, the team's local circuit, and where the new-look cars will kick off the team's 2017 title bid on 1/2 April.

Jackson returns to the Wrotham-based team for his eighth successive season, having finished the 2016 season in third place, just 16 points adrift of champion Gordon Shedden's total. The 35-year-old tied with Colin Turkington on the most race wins with five accrued across the year, and led more races and laps than any of his rivals.

Having parted company with Andrew Jordan, with whom Motorbase won the Independent Drivers' Championship, the team will be signing two new drivers to join Jackson next year as it aims to win its first outright title since joining the series in 2006.
