Cadwell Park's Historic Wolds Trophy returns this weekend

Friday, August 21 2020

Cadwell Park's annual Wolds Trophy, with on-track entertainment from the Historic Sports Car Club, returns this weekend (19-20 September).

The Wolds Trophy is a popular fixture on the historic motor racing calendar, as the picturesque Lincolnshire circuit revisits the past for two glorious days. This year's event will shine the spotlight on retro Formula Ford with races for both the iconic 1600cc machines and the slicks-and-wings 2000cc models across four separarate grids.

Other highlights will include road sports and touring cars, plus the Classic Clubmans. There will be plenty of 1980s action to enjoy too, courtesy of the Geoff Lees Trophy for single-seaters and 80s Production Car Challenge.

Visitors are welcome to attend as the venue continues to operate at a reduced capacity, with a range of hygiene and social distancing measures in place in place to ensure that visits are safe and enjoyable. Click here to download the latest summary, in accordance with COVID-Secure guidelines.

To guarantee admission to this event you must purchase tickets in advance by 4pm on Friday 18 September. Those in possession of season passes may attend as normal with no need to pre-register.

In order to comply with guidance from the relevant motorsport authorities, visitors will not be able to access the paddock and pit lane for the time being, and no overnight stays will be at this meeting, other than for competitors.
