Oulton Park bursts into life with BARC

Monday, March 12 2018

This Saturday (17 March) features a feast of BARC racing action, with frenetic battles anticipated with the 2CV Championship, CNC Heads Sports/Saloons, Caterham Graduates Championships and MG Owners Club all in attendance.

The Citroen 2CV is a motoring icon and despite being small in stature, this championship provides some thrilling wheel-to-wheel action with these cars set to bump, draft and dice round the picturesque Cheshire circuit. There's no gimmicks here, with all drivers competing on a level playing field, meaning drivers can either showcase their talents or will be forced to dig deep for some excuses when things go wrong!

The CNC Heads Championships sees a diverse range of cars compete from nimble lightweight hatchbacks to more powerful ex works machines. Meanwhile, the Caterham Graduates Championship will give the fans an opportunity to witness packed grids of Caterhams in a multi-class system scrapping over the same piece of tarmac.

Adding to a bumper day of racing will be the MG Owners Club Championships is for "production" based classic and modern MG's with only limited performance modifications being allowed.

The paddock will be open throughout the event, allowing spectators to get closer to the cars as they're prepared for battle and meet the teams and drivers.

Tickets for the BARC Championships at Oulton Park (17 March) are available online for £12 until midday on Wednesday or on the gate from £16 with free entry for under-13s. For more information, please call 0843 453 9000 or click here.
