Bennetts BSB is back for the Showdown decider!

Monday, September 02 2019

The Bennetts British Superbike Championship returns to Oulton Park this weekend (6-8 September) for the crucial Showdown decider when the six riders who'll compete for the 2019 title will be settled.

2015 champion Josh Brookes heads into the weekend leading the standings, with his Be Wiser Ducati teammate Scott Redding and Oxford Racing Ducati's Tommy Bridwell close behind. All three have already secured their places in the Showdown, leaving three spots up for grabs over the triple-header weekend, with one race on Saturday afternoon and two on Sunday at the Cheshire circuit.

Cadwell Park winner Danny Buchan, Tarran Mackenzie and Andrew Irwin currently occupy the prize slots, but anything could happen with a total of 75 points on offer across the weekend and a number of riders still mathematically capable of making the final six.

As well as headline Bennetts BSB race action, there's plenty more to see on track with support from the Dickies British Supersport Championship, Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship and more.

Off-track entertainment includes live music in Chequers marquee on Friday and Saturday nights with popular local bands The Quayz and Hollowpoint plus a bustling trade village selling official merchandise, bike accessories and clothing.

Kids can enjoy fairground rides and the Oulton Park adventure playground with swings and slides for youngsters up to 14.

Discounted advance adult weekend tickets are £39, with reductions for teens (13-15), but only until midday on Wednesday. Kids under 13 go FREE! Click here for more details and to book.
