Saturday, September 14 2019

Phil Keen and Adam Balon's Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO topped the opening British GT Championship practice session of Donington Decider weekend with a lap of 1m27.667s around the full Donington Park Grand Prix circuit this morning.

The championship-leading Lamborghini was followed on the timesheets by Shaun Balfe and Rob Bell's McLaren 720S GT3 ahead of tomorrow's two-hour title-deciding two-hour race. Third in the opening practice session wnet to the Aston Martin V8 Vantage of Mark Farmer and Nicki Thiim, who are chasing a first win of 2019 this weekend.

Ian Loggie and Callum Macleod's Mercedes-AMG GT3 was fourth quickest, ahead of Michael Igoe and Deninis Lind's Lamborghini.

Of Balon and Keen's main title protagonists this weekend, Graham Davidson and Jonny Adam were seventh quickest in their Aston Martin, whilst Sam De Haan and Jonny Cocker's Huracan was ninth.

Scott Maxwell and Seb Priaulx's Ford Mustang topped the GT4 times.
