Fun for all the family at Snetterton trucks spectacular

Wednesday, August 29 2018

There will be fun for all the family at Snetterton's annual round of the British Truck Racing Association Championship on 8-9 September, with a big line-up of family activities to compliment the epic racing schedule from Britain's heavyweight racing series.

Eight truck races are currently scheduled for the event, while a full support race schedule will ensure there's hours of awesome action to enjoy from Snetterton's panoramic viewing areas.

But we understand that trying to keep the kids sitting still isn't always the easiest, so we've also put on a number of entertainment areas off track to keep everyone occupied during the event.

Youngsters can get behind the wheel of a truck themselves, thanks to Mini Monster Truck Mania, or they can experience full size destruction with passenger rides on the Red Dragon Monster Truck, which will crush a number of cars during the event (so be extra careful where you to choose to park!).

A free of charge climbing wall will be present on Sunday, allowing visitors to gain a unique vista of Snetterton while channelling their inner Bear Grylls.

Remote control Land Rovers will also be in operation on Sunday, with a mini obstacle course with varying levels of terrain and difficulty, while the Downforce Racing Simulator will allow fans to have a go at virtual racing.

For those camping over during the weekend, Tyrrell's Bar and Restaurant will be open on Saturday evening with live music from the Velvatears.

With Show Trucks expected to be on display and an adventure playground open all weekend too, there's plenty to see and do throughout the weekend.

With tickets on sale in advance offering savings compared to gate prices, and children under-13 going free, this is a perfect family day out at one of Snetterton's most popular events of the year. Tickets start at just £20 for adults, for more information, click here.
