The Festival has become one of Europe's biggest celebrations for historic machinery, with hundreds of rare and significant models set to return to the track, including machines similar to those which raced at Donington in the pre-war era. As well as these relics, there will be numerous classic touring car races, including the Super Touring Trophy for BTCC cars that rose the series to high acclaim in the 1980s and 90s, as well as a number of contests for sports cars, including Le Mans cars and GT racers.

The feast of retro racing is accompanied by a huge amount to see and do away from the track too, with a tribute to the 1993 European Grand Prix amongst the key attractions and featuring a number of cars, some of which were driven by Ayrton Senna in his F1 career. In addition, hundreds of cars will be on display on the infield, Group B rally demonstrations will thrill on the Melbourne Loop, while flypasts from historic military planes on Saturday and Sunday will ensure the sky is filled with drama too!

With a big focus on days gone by, this will also be the first time for festival visitors to see the new look Donington Park, this year boasting new toilet blocks in the most popular viewing areas, a large new grandstand with stunning views at Hollywood, and the stunning new Garage 39 café, bar and restaurant, which will be open throughout.
