Final F1 Practice appearance of 2015 for Jolyon Palmer in Abu Dhabi

Tuesday, November 24 2015

Lotus F1 Team Third and Reserve Driver Jolyon Palmer will take to the track for Free Practice One in Abu Dhabi this Friday (November 27), as the curtain comes down on the 2015 Formula One season. The 24-year-old will get behind the wheel of the E23 Hybrid for the opening 90-minute session of the Grand Prix weekend on the Yas Marina Circuit, a track he knows well, having twice finished on the podium there in GP2.

The Southwater racer has driven 12 FP1 sessions so far in 2015, most recently in Brazil where he recorded his best result of the year, finishing 12th, having run inside the top-10 for much of the session.

Jolyon said: "I'm looking forward to rounding off the season in Abu Dhabi. It's been a good track for me and it's the place I had my first ever F1 test last year, so I have many good memories. Hopefully the team can also get the points they need to keep sixth in the Constructors Championship, which will be helpful momentum ahead of next year."

Free Practice One in Abu Dhabi will begin at 09:00 UK time on November 27. You can follow all the action on Sky Sports F1 channel from 08:45 and with updates on Jolyon's official website.
