Tatuus delighted by BRDC F4 teams’ response

Thursday, September 25 2014

Tatuus principal Gianfranco De Bellis and co-owner Artico Sandona were invited to attend the BRDC F4 round at Donington Park last weekend by series promoter and MSV Chief Executive Jonathan Palmer, and were delighted at the teams' response to the announcement that Tatuus will build cars for the series from Autumn 2015.

De Bellis and Sandona met all the teams present at Donington on Sunday, and also visited the BRDC F4 headquarters at MSV's Bedford Autodrome complex.

De Bellis commented: "I was impressed with the championship when I visited Donington Park last weekend. The level of competition is intense and the grid is incredibly close, providing really exciting racing, and I was very pleased to hear the enthusiasm the teams had for us and our F4 car.

"At Tatuus, we have huge confidence in MSV, and we believe that our partnership is going to be a very successful one for many years."

SWR - Caterham F1's Commercial Manager Mick Gomme is equally enthusiastic about the future of the series, having met the Tatuus representatives at Donington. "With Tatuus selected for every European FIA F4 series so far, we're delighted MSV has made this decision. It was great to meet with Gianfranco De Bellis at Donington. He's very enthusiastic about the series and the speed with which this has come about is very impressive."
