Fun for all the family at Trucks and Fireworks this weekend

This weekend's (1/2 November) Truck Superprix at Brands Hatch will feature even more action off the track, with a feast of family entertainment on the Sunday, which includes a huge fireworks display. Vistors to Brans Hatch can enjoy the following:

Go-karting (all weekend)

The Brands Hatch 'mini-Indy' will be open all weekend. Operated by Buckmore Park, karting is available for all those aged 8+ and costs £12 for ten minutes, payable at the karting circuit, which is located next to the Kentagon bar and restaurant.

Adventure playground (all weekend)

The free Brands Hatch adventure playground has equipment for children of all ages from toddler to 14, including climbing frames, swings and more.

Trucks1Traditional fairground (Sunday)

The Brands Hatch Fun Zone will offer a traditional fairground with stalls, plus an assortment of exciting rides and activities for kids of all ages, including:

  • Helter Skelter
  • Carousel
  • Shooting Range
  • Coconut Shy
  • Hook-a-Duck
  • Inflatable Rides
  • Toy Town Carousel

Kidspace! Marquee (Sunday)

On Sunday, a marquee behind the Pit Straight grandstand will feature children's entertainers, Punch and Judy shows, bubble performances and a balloon modeller. Throughout the day a variety of activities including colouring and soft play will also be on offer. Younger race fans will also have the opportunity to get their face painted by our skilled painters. Admission to the marquee is free of charge.

Trucks 2Red Dragon Monster Truck rides (Sunday)

If you've ever wondered what it is like to drive a monster truck then now you have the chance. Red Dragon is a monster truck which has been converted to carry up to 10 passengers enabling the public to feel its thundering V8 power, delivering 500 horsepower. Rides can be booked for just £7.50 on the day at the Monster Truck Arena, located behind the Pit Straight buildings.

Xtreme Chainshaw (Sunday)

Throughout the day on Sunday, Simon from Xtreme Chainsaw will be carving wooden works of art right before your eyes.

Trucks 3Truck display and parade (Sunday)

There will be a display of up to 100 show trucks parked on the gravel adjacent to the Pit Straight. These will take to the track for a parade following the end of racing on Sunday, to coincide with the fireworks display.

Fireworks display (Sunday)

The event ends with a spectacular fireworks display on Sunday. Depending on levels of light, it is due to commence at about 5:00pm. The display will take place on Southbank - the elevated area opposite the Pit Straight Grandstand - and will be visible from Clearways round to Paddock Hill bend. The Kentagon and Hailwoods restaurants will be serving hot food and drinks to accompany the display.
