Moore quickest in closely fought Brands Hatch BRDC F4 practice

Lanan Racing's Struan Moore set the fastest time in practice on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit this morning, carrying over his form from yesterday.

In a tight session, the top four runners were covered by little over 0.150s, with Moore 0.094s clear of team mate Arjun Maini. Raoul Hyman was third for HHC Motorsport, 0.101s away from Moore's time with Silverstone treble winner Sennan Fielding fourth.

Gaetano di Mauro enjoyed a spell at the top of the times for Petroball, ending up fifth fastest ahead of championship leader George Russell.

Charlie Eastwood, Will Palmer, Diego Menchaca and Chris Middlehurst were next up, with the top-10 covered by just over a second.

Moore's time of 1m25.865s is beneath the official F4 lap record of 1m26.315s on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit, set by team mate Maini.

Qualifying on the Grand Prix circuit commences at 11.50.
