Capacity entry for Aston Martin GT Centenary Race

A full grid of GT cars representing Aston Martin's racing efforts from the last ten years will take to the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit on Sunday 7 July at the Aston Martin Centenary Meeting. The entry list also features a host of big names from the world of racing.

Aston Martin Chairman David Richards will be racing with celebrity chef James Martin, who won his first motor race at Brands Hatch last weekend. Aston Martin Racing Managing Director John Gaw will also be taking the opportunity to compete in one of the company cars, as will works driver Stuart Hall.

Fresh from claiming the electric land speed record, Lord Drayson will be teaming up with Jonny Cocker again as his team recalls its Aston Martin GT racing past. They are joined in the GT3 class by British GT regulars Barwell Motorsport and Beechdean and regular drivers Mark Poole, Richard Abra and Andrew Howard will all be taking to the track.

The race entry features GT3 and DBRS9 cars classed together, plus a healthy GT4 category. An invitation section is expected to see a GT2 cars, plus a Zagato on the Grand Prix circuit.
