Everything you need to know about Halloween Trucks

Thursday, October 27 2011

If you are thinking of coming along to the Halloween Trucks at Brands Hatch this weekend, or have already purchased tickets, here is some important information to help you make the most of your trip to the circuit.

Gate opening times
Public admission to the circuit is from 8am on both Saturday and Sunday.

Southbank Parking
Southbank is available for car parking for £2 per car Saturday and £5 per car Sunday. Click here to download a pass.

You will need to bring your original tickets to the circuit as copies and receipts are not accepted. All advance tickets have now been dispatched and were sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required.

In the rare instance that your tickets have not arrived in time you will need to purchase them at the gate price and obtain a refund after the event by returning the gate ticket stubs and your original tickets to the venue office.

Please have your tickets separated before arriving at the gate.

Grandstand seats
Raceday (Sunday) seats in Paddock Hill grandstand are available for £10.

These can be purchased from the Megastore opposite the Kentagon restaurant.

Viewing upgrades
SuperView upgrade for raceday only. Watch the action from a Brabham/Stewart suite that overlooks the start/finish straight! Live timing screens and audio commentary are included. Available for just £30 for adults or £15 for children under 13. Viewing from the Directors Terrace is also available for £30.

Official event programmes are on sale from the main entrance gates and the Megastore for £5. Each programme features in-depth articles on the British Truck Racing Association and other events taking place this weekend along with entry lists and information on the racing timetable.

Off track entertainment
There will be a fancy dress disco in the Kentagon on Saturday evening.

Take part in a Broomstick Relay Race on Sunday in the Field of Screams, located adjacent to the Airfield entrance gate. Click here for a map. Get your team of 2-3 people and climb aboard a broomstick to negotiate the witch's hat obstacle course. The first team to get all its members back wins!

Pumpkin carving will take place in Brabham Stewart Suite A2 on Sunday. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.

Go karting courtesy of Buckmore Park is available for those aged 10+ at a cost of £12 for ten minutes, payable at the karting circuit beside the Kentagon restaurant.

The Brands Hatch TerrorZone! will be open on Sunday. Attractions include mini diggers, free face painting, quads and more. Hideous characters will be handing out sweets while creepy owls will feature in our Bird of Prey display.

Track down friendly spooks on our ghost hunt and take a haunted ride on our Ghost Train.

Ghoulish cheerleaders will perform a 'Thriller' routine on the start grid, while 2-8 year olds can enjoy a scary soft play double decker bus.

A charity truck pull will take place on Sunday on Butterfield Way. Watch as a team of rugby players attempt to drag a shockingly heavy truck over the 200 metre course.

Take a trip to the Wild Woods in our terrifying Land Rover 4x4 experience.  Beware the Wild Woodsmen who are hungry for fresh meat!

Radio Brands 87.7FM
Radio Brands will be broadcasting live commentary, interviews and spectator information throughout the weekend. Earpiece radios will be on sale from the Megastore for £5.
