Snetterton 300 to welcome endurance racing for the first time

Monday, April 25 2011

The 360 Motor Club returns to Snetterton for a second year this Saturday (30 April), and will host the first endurance event on the new 300 circuit.

The event caters for classic saloon and GT cars built before 1990, with a maximum engine capacity of 3.5 litres, and organisers will be hoping for an eclectic mix of machinery on the starting grid.
Among the vehicles entered in last year's race included Jaguar Mk 1s, Toyota Corolla GTs and the legendary Ford Escort RS.

A six hour race will be held, and drivers will have to balance speed and tactics in order to emerge victorious.

A thirty minute 'Wedding Breakfast' sprint race will also be held, again for saloon and GT cars based on the same criteria.

Tickets for the 360 Motor Club at Snetterton on 30 April are available from £10 with free admission for children aged 12 and under. For more information call 0843 543 9000 or click on the link below.
