MSVR championships descend on Snetterton this Bank Holiday Monday

Monday, April 25 2011

This coming Bank Holiday Monday (2 May) the Snetterton 300 circuit will welcome some of MotorSport Vision Racing's (MSVR) premier series.

The new for 2011 MSV F3 Cup will stage its third event of the year over two races, with a grid of high-tech Formula Three machinery. This is the second time the MSV F3 cup will have visited the Snetterton 300 circuit, having staged its inaugural event there in March. Aaron Steele dominated proceedings that weekend with a brace of wins, but Chris Needham and Louis Hamilton-Smith each claimed wins at Donington Park at the beginning of April.

The GT Trophy series stages its second round of the year with two one-hour races. This series features cars including Ferraris, Porsches, Chevrons and Ginettas. The Ferrari F430 of Rob Barff and Leon Price secured wins in the opening race of the season at Donington, and will be looking to continue their good start to the season.

The third and final series competing on Monday is the debut of the Club MSV Team Trophy. Following on from the successful introduction of the Trackday Trophy in 2010, the Team Trophy is aimed at drivers with a handful of races under their belt, or those who have competed in the Trackday Trophy and are no longer eligible. The Team Trophy competitors will battle for honours during a 45 minute race.

Tickets for MSVR at Snetterton on 2 May are available from £13 with free admission for children aged 12 and under. For more information call 0843 453 9000 or click on the link below.
