Club MSV all set for Trackday Trophy season finale

Wednesday, September 29 2010

The inaugural Club MSV Trackday Trophy season comes to a close on Saturday 23 October during the Formula Vee Festival at Brands Hatch, and we will be celebrating its success with a special ticket offer and after-show party.

"The Club MSV Trackday Trophy has always been about getting new people into motorsport" says Alex Baker, Series Organiser.

"Our end of season party is no exception! We want to introduce as many new people as possible to motorsport so if you're thinking about going racing, come along, watch the race and meet some of the drivers, most of whom were complete novice racers at the start of the season!"

Even if you aren't thinking about going racing, the special Trackday Trophy ticket, priced at £5 will allow spectators entry to the venue from 3pm onwards to watch the final round of the series and join in with the after party action.

"Almost everyone has watched F1 on the television but there is nothing quite like seeing a motor race live and because the racing is at club level you can get up much closer to the action."

Baker adds; "There may even be a grid walk prior to the race -it's not every day members of the public get to go on the grid minutes before the cars set off for their warm up lap!"

Once the racing on track has finished your ticket will also allow you access to the after season party in the Kentagon, where live music will be provided by some of the south east's top up and coming bands, including the Archie Wah Wahs, The Soundcasters and The Deccas, featuring Club MSV's very own Nick Rice!

The music will finish at 11.30pm but anyone wishing to camp at the circuit is welcome to do so free of charge. Please note - there will be no other facilities available.
