Masters Historic Festival set for final day thriller

The Masters Historic Festival concludes today (Monday) with more action from the Grand Prix Masters for historic Formula One cars, and the World Sportscar Masters on the famous Grand Prix circuit.

Yesterday saw Bill Coombs' Tyrrell 009 secure victory in the weekends first Grand Prix Masters race, with a hugely impressive drive from ninth on the grid.

Richard Evans won in the World Sportscar Masters race after starting from second on the grid in his Abarth PA01.

The action starts with qualifying for the Gentleman Drivers B at 9am before racing begins at 9.50am with the Interserie Revival.

The Grand Prix Masters race starts at 1.35pm with the World Sportscar Masters blasting off at 3.05pm before the festival ends with a two hour race for the Gentleman Drivers B, featuring pre-1966 GT and pre-1963 sportscars at 3.50pm.

The Masters Historic Festival concludes on the Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit today (Monday 31 May). Tickets are available on the gate for £21 for adults, with free entry for children aged 12 and under. For more information call 0870 950 9000 or click on the link below.
