Discounted tickets now on sale for BTCC Snetterton

Wednesday, June 30 2010

School's out for summer with a six week break in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship, but the BTCC's new term gets underway at Snetterton on 7/8 August and discounted tickets are now on sale from just £24.

Top of the class
Honda Racing's Matt Neal is the star pupil at the halfway stage, leading the championship after clinching three victories and four podiums. However, Silverline Chevrolet's Jason Plato is hot on his heels and just eight points adrift in second place.

Most improved
The Team Aon Ford Focuses of Tom Chilton and Tom Onslow-Cole are charging up the championship table, whilst double victory for Neal's team-mate Gordon Shedden at Croft has put the Scotsman right into contention for the 2010 trophy.

Must try harder
A quartet of drivers will be bidding to score their first points at Snetterton including Shaun Hollamby's VW Golf and the Central Group Racing Honda of Lea Wood, who joined the series late at Brands Hatch.

Summer timetable
Snetterton will feature three BTCC races plus a packed support programme including the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, Formula Renault UK and the Ginetta Junior Championship. There will also be a free pit lane walkabout on Sunday.

Discounted tickets are now on sale from £24 for adults - saving you up to £12 on the gate price - with free entry for children aged 12 and under.
