Brands Hatch geared up for double-header this weekend

Friday, June 25 2010

Brands Hatch is set for two days of action this weekend (26/27 June) as both the Aston Martin Owners Club and Modified Live visit Kent on Saturday and Sunday respectively.

The Aston Martin Owners Club visits Brands Hatch this Saturday (26 June) and machinery on track will range from modern supercars in the Aston Martin GT4 Challenge, right through to vintage cars in the AMOC Classic and Historic Championship.

The Aston Martin GT4 Challenge features the iconic Vantage GT4 and Vantage N24, based closely on the Vantage V8 road car and built to FIA GT4 regulations.

The attention on Sunday turns to Europe's hottest performance car show - Modified Live - with competitions, track demonstrations and a huge exhibition area from the best in performance modified cars.

Special features at this event include the first public viewing of the brand new Cosworth Impreza STI C400 - the first Cosworth road car in over 14 years - and an on track demonstration from the Sumo Power FIA World GT series team.

Other highlights include the 'Time Attack' series for performance tuned road cars and the third round of the European Drift Championship.

During the event you will be able to watch England's World Cup match at 3pm on screens in the Kentagon and Hailwoods restaurants.

Tickets for both these events are available on the gate. Admission to the Aston Martin Owners Club will cost £12, and entry to Modified Live is £20. To book tickets for the next Modified Live event at Cadwell Park on 1 August call 0870 950 9000 or click the link below.
