Everything you need to know about Superleague Formula this weekend

Friday, July 30 2010

As Brands Hatch prepares for the debut outing of Superleague Formula by Sonangol this weekend (31 July/1 August), if you're coming along here is some important information to help you make the most of your trip to the circuit.

Gate opening times
The gate opening times this weekend are 8am on both Saturday and Sunday.

Southbank Parking
Southbank is available for car parking (not bikes) on Saturday at a cost of £2 per car and Sunday for £5 per car.

If you intend to park on Southbank you will need to click on the link at the bottom of the page and download a pass.

Please display the pass in your windscreen to ensure that you are directed to the correct entrance when you arrive at the circuit.

You will need to bring your original tickets to the circuit; copies and receipts are not accepted. All advance tickets have now been dispatched and were sent by either Recorded or Special Delivery, meaning a signature is required.

In the rare instance that your tickets have not arrived in time you will need to purchase them at the gate price and obtain a refund after the event by returning the gate ticket stubs and your original tickets to the venue office.

Please have your tickets separated before arriving at the gate.

Radio Brands 87.7FM
Radio Brands will be broadcasting live commentary, interviews and spectator information throughout the weekend. Earpiece radios will be on sale from the Megastore for £5.

Limited edition event programmes are available for just £5 from the main entrance, Megastore and official programme booths. Each programme includes Superleague Formula driver profiles and a selection of in-depth articles on all championships competing this weekend.

Pit lane walkabout
There is a pit walk and driver autograph session scheduled to take place from 9.00 - 9.45am on Sunday.

Spectators intending to take part will need to arrive at the queuing point next to Paddock Hill grandstand a minimum of 15 minutes early. Last entry to the pit walk will be at 9.30am.

Grandstand seats and hospitality
Limited grandstand seating is available to purchase from the Megastore opposite the Kentagon restaurant on Saturday and Sunday.

You can also upgrade your viewing experience with a Trackside Lounge pass - featuring shared access to a suite overlooking the start/finish straight - from £65 and the Directors' Terrace, a covered balcony area with a dedicated pay bar, from £45. Click on the link at the bottom of the page for more information.

Off-track entertainment
The Brands Hatch Fun Zone will be open on Sunday featuring mini JCBs from Diggerland, quad bikes, bouncy castles, dodgems and trampolines.
