Bennetts BSB Showdown kicks off at Oulton Park this month

Tuesday, September 14 2021

The Bennetts British Superbike Championship's title deciding Showdown phase kicks off at Oulton Park with a high-octane triple-header on 24-26 September. Adult tickets are available from £32 in advance for the main race day with FREE entry for under-13s. For more information and to book now click here.

Eight riders remain in contention for the crown ahead of Oulton Park's three races (one on Saturday, two on Sunday) and there's everything to play for, with each title fighter in with a chance. Jason O'Halloran leads the standings following a superlative season so far, but the scores have been partially reset and he'll have to maintain that form to hold off the chasing pack including McAMS Yamaha teammate Tarran Mackenzie.

Others in the Showdown include local rider Christian Iddon, whilst reigning champion Josh Brookes reignited his challenge with a late charge to claim the final spot in the line-up. Tommy Bridewell, Peter Hickman, Danny Buchan and Glenn Irwin will also feature in the hunt ahead of a dramatic weekend at the picturesque Cheshire circuit.

Machinery from Yamaha, Ducati, BMW, Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki will appear in the headline races in front of a full crowd, whilst there will be a strong support race line-up, including rounds of the Quattro Group British Supersport Championship and Pirelli Superstock National Championship.

How we continue to keep you safe: COVID-19

Whilst our motor racing circuits are outdoor venues, with spectators dispersed over a very wide area, we recognise the importance of maintaining sensible precautions to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission. We have therefore retained many of the protocols that have been in place since we welcomed spectators back again in May. Click here for details.

Sunday tickets are available from £32 in advance with a discount for 13-15-year-olds and FREE entry for under-13s. For more information and to book click here.
