Snetterton welcomes BRSCC racers this weekend

Sunday, July 18 2021

A busy 21 race programme from the British Racing and Sports Car Club (BRSCC) will provide plenty of entertainment at Snetterton this weekend (24-25 July).

A total of 11 different categories will be in action across the event, including three series for fast Fords. Up and coming racers will do battle in the Fiesta Junior Championship, whilst their more senior counterparts will compete in the Fiesta Championship, and an eclectic mix of blue oval machinery will be on show in the ETSL ST-XR Challenge.

Miniature pocket rockets will go all out in the CityCar Cup Championship, featuring Toyota Aygo, Peugeot 107 and Citroen C1 machinery, and slightly larger cars will do battle in the BMW Compact Cup.

Huge variety will be on offer in the BRSCC ClubSport Trophy, which includes a mini-endurance race for virtually any car going and a dedicated class for Mazda MX-5s.

Close to production-spec cars will face off in the Track Attack Race Club contests on Sunday, while the Aston Martin Owners' Club brings along five different categories.

Saturday's bill will include the Jack Fairman Cup (1950s sports and GT cars) and Innes Ireland Cup for 1960s GT cars. Altogether more contemporary vehicles will race in Sunday's contests for the GT Challenge (post-1996 GT cars) and GT4 Challenge (Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4s) while retaining a retro flavour with the Intermarque, with cars from the 1970s to the mid 1990s.

This will be the first event at Snetterton since the government lifted COVID-19 restrictions, however we would like to reassure all visitors that we will continue to have a range of measures in place, including enhanced cleaning and wide availability of hand sanitisers. Whilst it is no longer mandatory to wear a face covering indoors, we would encourage their use, particularly in busy enclosed areas.

Tickets are available on the gate priced at £16 per day for adults with discounts for 13-15 year-olds, while under-13s go free. Click here for more information.
