Spaces still available on first combined trackday at Cadwell Park in 2011

Friday, January 28 2011

Spaces are still available for the first combined trackday of 2011 at Cadwell Park next Saturday (5th February).

The trackday is open to both cars and bikes, with individual sessions for each, while ACU testing is also available for aspiring bike racers (see separate story).

The car sessions are for novice only drivers and there will be six 20 minute sessions throughout the day. Novice only trackdays are available to drivers who have competed in a maximum of three trackdays before, and race or track cars are not permitted.

There will be a limited amount of cars on track at any one time so you won't have to keep looking in your mirrors, and cones will be placed around the circuit to show you the ideal lines around the track. Experienced instructors will also be available to give you any further tips throughout the day.

For an extra £10, drivers can bring along a passenger to share the experience.

There are two ability groups for bikers, novice and intermediate/advanced, with the track time divided between the groups.

As with the car session, the bike novice sessions are only open to riders who have taken part in a maximum of three previous trackdays. Again, instructors will be on hand, and there will be mini-debriefs between each period on track.

The intermediate/advanced group is open to those who have attended several trackdays, and have visited Cadwell Park before.

Spaces are available for £89 for cars, and £59 for bikes. For more information call 0843 453 3000 or click the link below.
